Duration: 360 Hours

Curriculum:

Generic Competencies-

  1. Apply OHS Practices at Workplace
  2. Carryout Workplace Interaction
  3. Apply Basic IT Skills
  4. Work in the Team Environment

Sector Specific Competencies-

  1. Interpret the ground rules of caregiving
  2. Interpret the legal and ethical issues in caregiving
  3. Carryout basic first aid

Occupational Specific Competencies-

  1. Perform Health Screening
  2. Assist in Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
  3. Perform Clinical Caregiving
  4. Maintain Nutrition, Food Safety and Diet Plan
  5. Maintain Basic Housekeeping in Caregiving
  6. Apply Basic Physiotherapy in Caregiving

 

Caregiving for Elderly Persons Level-3

Duration: 300 Hours

Curriculum:

Generic Competencies-

  1. Practice Negotiation Skills
  2. Demonstrate Work Value
  3. Lead Small Team

Sector Specific Competencies-

  1. Orientation to Mental Retardation & Autism Spectrum Disorders Associated Problems

Occupational Specific Competencies-

  1. Provide Care to Elderly People
  2. Respond to Challenging Behavior
  3. Perform Palliative Care
  4. Manage Clients with Stroke, Dementia, Parkinson & Alzheimer’s Disease.

 

Caregiving for Infant, toddler & Children Level-3

Duration: 300 Hours

Caregiving for Persons with Special Needs Level-3

Duration: 300 Hours
